Pastor Michael Hull
Greetings,
I want to be the first to welcome you to Valley Baptist Tabernacle. My motto is "On Fire for God.” This is something that we all should strive to be.
After spending 10 yrs in the Air Force, God called me to preach. I immediately got involved in my local church, in San Antonio, Texas, doing anything and everything I felt the Lord leading me to do. I spent two years in the Bible Institute, offered at the Church, and then went on to graduate from Liberty University. I am currently working toward my Masters degree.
I have been in full time Christian ministry for almost 11 years. I have served as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor. Then the Lord led us to Alaska, where I now serve the Lord as Senior Pastor, here at Valley Baptist Tabernacle. My wife, Denise and I have been married for 16 years and have 3 beautiful children.
My spiritual goals, for our people, are to:
Have a sound doctrinal foundationAn appreciation for the ministry of the local churchA commitment to serving the Lord JesusAn understanding of their place in the world as a believerOur Church family is involved in many areas of ministry, as you will see by visiting this site. We also believe strongly in a servant's heart. We need to serve others and those who are in need. Some examples could be the Nursery, Children's church, Sunday school, Discipleship, nursing home visitation, and many other areas of outreach in our own neighborhoods, or just helping others that we see have a need.
Once again, I want to personally invite you to come and meet our church family and fellowship with us. We look forward to meeting you and serving the Lord with you.
